Apparently this is an Atari ST port, but since I’ve never had one before this might as well be a completely new game. And it’s REALLY fun! The graphics are nice and silky smooth, the music is memorable, and most importantly the gameplay is addicting! It has this power up system where you really need to keep collecting the same icons to power up your shot, and the moment you accidentally grab a different shot type your stomach drops because your power level drops to 1 on the new shot type and you know you just made it harder on yourself. Whoops! That means sometimes the worst enemies are the powerups! It keeps you on your toes and you’ll definitely want to see what each shot looks like fully powered up. But good luck! It’s a tough game, in a good way where it never feels cheap. If you want a really solid shooter for the Jag with nice graphics, great sound, and additive gameplay, this is the game for you!
